A special 30th anniversary wish for Kim Fricke

On February 18, 2018 we celebrated the 30th anniversary of the founding of PCIA.

It was 30 years ago, with a dream, a lot of tenacity and a single-minded drive to succeed, that Kim Fricke started PCIA, to serve the unique insurance needs of architects, engineers, CPAs and lawyers.

The year was 1988, and she worked tirelessly to launch her idea and see her dream come true, creating an agency that would be unlike all the others – it would respond to the challenges of this niche market in Michigan and the surrounding region. Her goal was to create an agency that offered the appropriate insurance coverage and risk management options to professionals that other agencies weren’t offering. All this, while balancing the needs of her young family.

How to define such a woman? Energetic, focused, driven to do the very best. These are just some of the descriptions that come to mind when describing our founder. She is a self-starter, who is deeply passionate about living well, maintaining a balanced life and achieving success in all ventures.

Over the years, she has also worked as a Success Coach helping others achieve improved health and financial success. And in her spare time, she rides horses and supports rescue organizations.

Kim and PCIA started out in Ann Arbor, and 19 years later, she moved the agency to its present location in beautiful Brighton, Michigan. Having passed the reins of the agency to Mike Cosgrove, Kim now focuses on conducting detailed reviews of professional service contracts.
